Friday night several gracious and strong friends came to help us move our larger furniture. Moving is never fun but I like to think that they might have enjoyed themselves just a little bit since there were lots of jokes made and laughter throughout the night. I think it helps to be moving with close friends helping.
Karen is a rockstar Grandma and brought pizza for dinner to share with the movers. But then she moved to saint status and took a vomiting Henry to her house for the night. She was up all night with him as he worked through the worst of his stomach virus. I went and got the boys early on Saturday morning.
The rest of the weekend was spent unpacking and trying to get Henry and Jack both to full health while avoiding the bug ourselves. Not going to lie, it was a pretty stressful weekend overall. So stressful in fact I got a fever blister which has only happened a handful of times in my life and always surrounding super stressful events.
We ate way to many meals through a drive thru because there were literally no brain cells left to even think about what to eat and when to eat.
But we are here in our new home that we are so very pleased with, so overall, the weekend was a huge success.
