Moving:

I received a text message from my sister today telling me that I need to update our blog. Thanks Christa. Here I am updating our blog.

It has been hard to know what to write about on here. I am not sure how it came so easily when we were living in Illinois. I think one reason it came easily was because we had Internet access that worked well. And all of our belongings had a good and proper place. We still have lots of things strewn about the house waiting to find a new home. It is exhausting thinking about having to stay home in the evenings just to clean and organize. I would rather go to Utica square and listen to music and sit outside.

But, not yet. There is still a lot of work to be done around here. Oh, and did I mention that we spent all day moving stuff around at church in order to get ready for some major renovations that are about to take place. So my days are filled with moving other people's things and then I come home to move my things.

We are building lots of muscle, developing nasty bruises, and wearing ourselves out each and every night. Hopefully updating this blog will become easier once things start settle down a bit.

Danae,
Moving is LAME if you ask me. We are in the same predicament. My husband doesn't really like holding pictures up for 10 minutes while I debate if that "really" is the best place for the picture. Ugh... I do know that it ends and you do forget all about it, and then apparently you move again. :) Hope t-town is treating you well!
PS- You need to update your 9 things in 2009, I think you have done a LOT of them. Maybe time for some new ones?

Transition times are so hard. Last summer, before Elliott and I were married, I had to move in to a new apartment with my girlfriends. I was only going to live there 1 1/2 months. Most of my stuff stayed in boxes. Some of my stuff was moved to the new married apartment. I didn't know where anything was. It is so hard to not feel settled. I will pray for you both as you transition and settle...I know good things are coming.
