Bright Days

It was bitter cold here last week. Some of the coldest temps in the decade. But, the thing that got us through it was the sun. Each day was bright and sunny, and that helped keep our spirits up. The sunny days also mean that it is not pitch black on my walks home from work. It really is amazing how much it helps to be ending my work day with light still in the sky.

Sun and Chicago....hmmmm, those two don't usually go together. I'm glad the sun is shining for you!

AMEN! I totally understand what you are saying... basically we had the same weather report with what you jus said "13 days of lower than normal temps" BUT the sun was out! I rather single digits with the sun than the 30's and a gray sky!

Sorry it's so cold! It was in the 60's yesterday, but it's supposed to get colder today. Like in the 40's. :) Yes, I know that's not cold for you crazy Northeners!
I miss you guys so much, I'm so glad I discovered the wonders of your blog so I can feel like I know what's going on with you two.
Love you!
